Here is what I tell all new inventors on a first consultation;
  • First, do a free patent search at www.uspto.gov.
  • Second, hire us to do a basic professional search for $850.00.
  • Third, brainstorm with me on an hourly basis to format a product launch budget.
  • Fourth, decide if you are a producer or a licensor.
  • Fifth, if you are a licensor, then file a utility patent to get claims allowed as soon as possible.
  • Sixth, if you are a producer (like most of my successful small clients), then spend your money on inventory and marketing, and call me in nine months to consider the value of filing a patent.
