Call Rick Martin, Patent Attorney
|The third, Boulder-based Carrier Access Corporations (CAC), just went public in 1998. Manufacturer of a switch functionally equivalent to those used by AT&T, it’s grown from a two-partner company in 1995 to its current 300 employees. Their switch, now sweeping the industry, has considerably reduced the downtime, as well as size and cost, of these switching devices.
While these companies have already been bought or merged, Martin has several other clients who are in the process of going big-time such as a Colorado Springs firm which manufactures the canola motor oil (yes, vegetable oil) currently being tested in The City of Fort Collins’ fleet. The company has created a joint venture with the state of Michigan. The immensity of this company’s possible effects on our nation’s drooping agricultural industry may prove to be astounding.
